Teacher Training and CPD
Adversity Creative Education helps schools make the most of their training budgets by embedding meaningful CPD into INSET days and staff training. Whether it’s drama pedagogy, arts integration, or expert-led sessions in a specific art form, I tailor training to each school’s needs. With a strong network of cultural partners, I deliver high-quality CPD that enhances creativity, student engagement, and whole-school impact.

What to expect?
At Adversity Creative Education, we offer tailored arts-focused CPD sessions during Inset Days or Inset Afternoons, designed to support your staff’s professional development and enrich your school’s arts provision. We offer two options to meet your specific needs:
Option 1: Bespoke CPD Sessions with Arts Organisations
We will work closely with your school to understand your needs, budget, and the specific art form you wish to develop. Based on this, we will connect you with one of our 30+ cultural partners to deliver a subject-specific arts training session at your school.
Key Features:
-
Tailored Arts Training: We’ll find the right arts organisation to deliver a session that meets your school's unique needs (visual arts, music, drama, etc.).
-
Flexible Scheduling: The training can be scheduled during an Inset Day or after school, depending on what best fits your school’s training plan and staff availability.
-
Collaborative Opportunities: You can choose to open up the session to other schools within your trust or school partnerships, creating a wider learning community.
-
Ongoing Support: We’ll ensure that the session is aligned with your school’s development goals and can be followed up with further CPD or resources.
Cost: £350-£500 depending on needs of school.
Option 2: Direct CPD Delivery by Adversity Creative Education
If you're looking for theatre-centred, hands-on training, I offer direct delivery of CPD sessions for your school. These sessions are perfect for engaging your staff in creative and practical approaches and can be customised to suit your needs.
